Surrendering your Pug
Looking to surrender?
When we bring a dog into our lives, it should be for the rest of the dog’s life. However, we also understand that in life we get thrown curve balls that change all our circumstances. Giving up a much loved family pet can be heartbreaking, but it is important that you make the right decision for you and your dog.
We understand at MuffinPug Rescue that giving up your dog for adoption is an extremely hard decision. We are not here to pass judgement or question your reasons; we just want to help in any way we can.
Your call will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and we will endeavour to carry out your wishes wherever possible. Rest assured that your pug will be in very good hands and treated as if he or she were one of our own.
We have now rehomed over 1400 pugs in 4 years. We know what works and we will always put the needs of the pug before everything else.
Read our promise. All our Fairy Pug Mothers and Fathers follow the same ethos on how to live a long, natural healthy life for our dogs using our tried and tested methods.

Once a dog comes into MuffinPug Rescue, they will be supported for the rest of their life. We keep ongoing communications with all of our dogs to ensure that they are being well looked after and happy in their homes.
All our dogs waiting to be adopted are home fostered. Our experience has shown that pugs do not do well in kennels and need the loving touch of another human and dogs. We ensure all our pugs are placed with an approved fosterer for assessment before moving to their perfect, new forever home.
We complete vigorous home checks on all new applicants to ensure that they have the best situation for any of our dogs.
We will keep in touch with you as little or as much as you want. We can send you updates and pictures if requested. We have a vast amount of knowledge and experience dealing with pug related health problems. This enables us to give any dog the best treatment plan to ensure they recover as quickly as possible.
